ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC (BASTON/LANGTOFT – KING STREET) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order on King Street to allow for works to be carried out on or adjacent to the road. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions on the roads as specified in the Schedule. The Order will come into operation on 8 January 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. The works are expected to commence on or about 8 January 2025 and continue for approximately 24 days. Access will be maintained to properties on the affected length of road but may be subject to delays. The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016. An alternative route for vehicles will be signed. The effect of the Order will be to impose the temporary traffic restrictions as detailed in the Schedule, for the purpose of public safety and the nearby events which may impact on or near the said roads. The Order will be operative on 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 and apply at all times when traffic signs are displayed. Diversion routes for affected traffic shall be signposted. The Order will come into operation on 6 January 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 18 months or the completion of the works whichever is the sooner. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) (MARKET DEEPING/DEEPING ST JAMES – LINK FOOTWAY BETWEEN KNIGHT CLOSE/PAWLETT CLOSE & THE LEES) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 Lincolnshire County Council has made an Order closing Link Footway between Knight Close/Pawlett Close & The Lees in the Parish of Market Deeping/Deeping St James, to all traffic. The closure is required to reduce the likelihood of danger to the public whilst works are in progress in proximity to the link footway. The Order will commence on 6 January 2025 and may last for a maximum period of 6 months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. Access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of link footway to be closed, if any, will be maintained where possible. The restriction shall only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
