The County of Cornwall (A388 Between Dockacre Road And Polson Bridge, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd December 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for reinstatement works on behalf of Wales and West Utilities and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th January 2025 to 9th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0700, weekdays only.

Road affected - A388 Between Dockacre Road And Polson Bridge, Ridgegrove Hill, Launceston between the junctions of Angel Hill and Exeter Street.

The County of Cornwall (B3254 Between Tiny Meadows And Hendra Lane and B3254 Between Hendra Lane And Trekelland Bridge Hill, South Petherwin, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th January 2025 to 28th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - 83254 Between Tiny Meadows And Hendra Lane, South Petherwin, Launceston between property known as Guest Cottages and the junction of Hendra Lane and 83254 Between Hendra Lane And Trekelland Bridge Hill, South Petherwin, Launceston between the junction of Hendra Lane and property known as Trewillen.

The County of Cornwall (Badgall Road and Road From Badgall Road To Tregeare Road, Launceston) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Launceston.

This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 22nd January 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 8730 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Badgall Road, Launceston between property known as Badgall Cottage and grid reference SX 23947 86542 and Road From Badgall Road To Tregeare Road, Launceston between grid references SX 23947 86542 and SX 24306 86656.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 20th January 2025 to 24th January

2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Barn Hill To Coombe, Morwenstow, Bude between the junction Access to Stanbury and grid reference SS 21153 13637.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Coast Road To White Lodge, Crackington Haven, Bude) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd December 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th January 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Coast Road To White Lodge, Crackington Haven, Bude between The Burden Trust Coombes Car Park and property known as Little Pen.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 25th September 2023 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being County Road, Upton, Bude between grid reference SS 21099:04815 and the junction of St Anns Hill.

The Order which commenced on the 9th October 2023 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 7th March 2024.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out works to replace railing & parapet.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 24th December 2024 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984

to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 33, in the Parish of Bude-Stratton between grid references SS 22322 06403 and SS 22394 06421. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during development works nearby.

The Order will come into operation on 25th December 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 28th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 4th December 2024 for a period of up to 21 days.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

This prohibition is necessary for telecom works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th January 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Sharlands Road, Marhamchurch, Bude between the junction of Under Lane and grid reference SS 22547 03446.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 23rd December 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the

undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th January 2025 to 17th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - West Street, Kilkhampton, Bude between grid reference SS 24991 11367 and the junction of Baileys Field.
