What is happening?

THE HARINGEY (VARIOUS ROADS - DOCKLESS E-SCOOTER/BICYCLE PARKING PLACES – TTMO250) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council of the London Borough of Haringey intend to make the above Temporary Traffic Order under S14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for public safety and to facilitate the dockless e-scooter and bicycle parking.

THE GENERAL EFFECT OF THE ORDER:

  1. To suspend parking and introduce no waiting/loading in the following lengths of roads specified in column 2 during the dates and times specified in column 1:

Date/Times: From 09:00 Monday, 6th January 2025 for up to 18 months
a. Suspension of 4.8 metres shared bay (loading and motorcycle) on the east side of Alexandra Road, N22/N8, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 133 High Road.
b. Suspension of 4.8 metres of paid bay on the north side of Beresford Road, N8, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 595 Green Lanes.
c. Suspension of 6 metres of resident bay on the north-west side of Bromley Road, N11, outside Flat 1, No. 2 Maidstone Road.
d. Suspension of 7.8 metres of paid bay on the north side of Cavendish Road, N4, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 429 Green Lanes.
e. Suspension of 4.8 metres of paid bay on the south side of Chesterfield Gardens, N4, adjacent to the flank wall of Nos. 34-35 Grand Parade, Green Lanes.
f. Suspension of 4.8 metres of permit bay on the north-east side of Devonshire Hill Lane, N17, opposite No. 39.
g. Suspension of 4.8 metres of permit bay on the north-east side of Elder Avenue, N8, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 45 Tottenham Lane.
h. Suspension of 4.8 metres of resident bay on the north side of Endymion Road, N4, outside No. 48.
i. Suspension of 4.8 metres of paid bay on the north side of Fairfax Road, N8, adjacent to the flank wall of 643A Green Lanes.
j. Suspension of 6 metres of permit bay on the west side of Fenton Road, N17, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 341 White Hart Lane.
k. Suspension of 4.8 metres of shared bay (paid bay and resident bay) on the north side of Hewitt Road, N8, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 555 Green Lanes.
l. Suspension of 4.8 metres of paid bay on the north side of High Street, N8, outside No. 67.
m. Suspension of 3.6 metres of resident bay on the west side of Jansons Road, N15, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 89 Philip Lane.
n. Suspension of 4.8 metres of shared bay (paid bay and resident bay) on the south side of Lascotts Road, N22, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 479 High Road.
o. Suspension of 4.8 metres of paid bay on the east side of Penhurst Road, N17, opposite No. 12.
p. Suspension of 4.8 metres of paid bay on the south-east side of Perth Road, N4, outside The Faltering Fullback Public House, No. 19.
q. Suspension of 4.8 metres of shared bay (paid bay and resident bay) on the south-west side of Salisbury Road, N22, 15.6 metres south-east of the kerb-line with Lordship Lane.
r. Suspension of 4.8 metres of disabled bay on the north-east side of Spur Road, N15, outside Nos. 4 and 5.
s. Suspension of 4.8 metres of resident bay on the south-east side of Stapleton Hall Road, N4, outside No. 72.
t. Suspension of 4.8 metres of shared bay (paid bay and resident bay) on the north side of Umfreville Road, N4, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 385 Green Lanes.
u. Suspension of 6 metres of resident bay on the south-west side of Victoria Road, N4, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 38 Stapleton Hall Road.
v. Suspension of 4.8 metres of permit bay on the east side of Waltheof Avenue, N17, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 342 Lordship Lane.
w. Suspension of 6 metres of paid bay on the north side of Wareham Road, N4, adjacent to the flank wall of No. 509 Green Lanes.
x. Suspension of 6 metres of resident bay on the north-west side of Warwick Road, N11, opposite flank wall of The Ranelagh Public House, Bounds Green Road.
y. Suspension of 9.8 metres of permit bay on the south-east side of Willoughby Lane, N17, outside the forecourt of the Shell Petrol Station, No. 41275.
z. Suspension of 4.8 metres of shared bay (paid bay and resident bay) on the south-east side of Wymark Avenue, N22, outside Wymark House.
aa. Suspension of 4.8 metres of permit bay on the south-east side of Wolves Lane, N22, outside No. 59.
  • To temporarily introduce a dockless e-scooter and bicycle bay on the carriageway specified in column 2 during the dates and times specified in column 1:

    Date/Times: From 09:00 Monday, 6th January 2025 for up to 18 months
    a. The north-east side of the south-eastern arm of Compton Crescent, N17, opposite No. 7, adjacent to the railings (4.8 metres).
    b. The south-west side of the eastern arm of Compton Crescent, N17, opposite the vehicular entrance of Bozcar-Der Community Centre, adjacent to the railings (4.8 metres).
    c. The west side of High Road, N17, 9.5 metres north of the pedestrian entrance to B & M Home Store, Nos. 867-869 (2.4 metres in width).
    d. The pedestrianised area of Langham Road, N15, 5.2 metres south of the building line of No. 274.
    e. The east side of Mill Mead Road, N17, 12.7 metres north-east of the kerb-line of Ferry Lane, adjacent to the railings of Pymmes Brook.
    f. The back of the footway on the south-east side of Watermead Way opposite the pedestrian crossing near the junction with Cygnet Way (2.5 metres in width).
    g. The north-west side of White Hart Lane, N17, at the rear of Unit 8, Segro Park Tottenham (2.4 metres in width).
    The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs. Access will be maintained where possible.
