Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

The general effect of the Orders: To introduce disabled badge holders only parking places operating at all hours, with a maximum stay period of 2 hours and a no return period of 1 hour, at the locations set out in the table below:

3.Crescent Road N8 Southwest side Opposite No.29To convert existing shared use pay by phone/permit holders only bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled bays.
4.Earlsmead Road N15 South side – Outside No.2To convert existing resident permit holders only bay to a 6.6 metre disabled parking bay.
5.Effingham Road N8 North side – Adjacent to No.621 Green LanesTo convert existing resident permit holders only bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays. Adjacent single yellow line to be shortened by 1 metre.
6.Fortis Green Road N10 Northeast side – outside No.198 & 202-206To introduce 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays.
7.Honeysett Road N6 West side – Adjacent to Food CentreTo convert existing pay by phone bays to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays. Adjacent double yellow line to be extended by 5 metres from the junction with Tetherdown.
8.Kings Avenue N10 East side – Adjacent to No.40, Queens AvenueTo convert existing pay by phone bay to a 6.6 metre disabled parking bay. Adjacent double yellow line to be extended by 10 metres from the junction with Queens Avenue and adjacent permit holders bay to the north to be extended south by 2.8 metres.
9.Lothair Road North N4 North side – Outside No.141-145To convert existing resident permit holders only bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays.
10.Mattison Road N4 North side – Adjacent to No.469 Green LanesTo convert existing pay by phone bays to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays. Adjacent single yellow line and a 4 metre permit holders only bay to be shortened.
11.Muswell Hill Broadway N10 Northeast side – Outside No.64To convert existing pay by phone bay to a 6.6 metre disabled parking bay.
12.Pellatt Grove N22 South side – Adjacent to No.20To convert existing permit holders only bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays.
13.Perth Road N4 Southeast side – Adjacent to No.72 Stroud Green RoadTo convert existing resident permit holders only bay to a 6.6 metre disabled parking bay.
14.Salisbury Road N4 South side – Outside No.2To convert existing resident permit holders only bay to a 6.6 metre disabled parking bay.
15.Gladstone Avenue N22 Outside No.71-71 Gladstone AvenueTo convert existing shared use pay by phone/permit holders only bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays.
16.Warham Road N4 South side – Adjacent to No.507 Green LanesTo convert existing pay by phone bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays.
17.Willoughby Road N8 East side – Opposite No.38-40To convert existing pay by phone bay to 2 x 6.6 metre disabled parking bays.
18.Woodberry Crescent N10 North side – Adjacent to No.353, Muswell Hill BroadwayTo convert existing shared use pay by phone/permit holders only bay to a 6.6 metre disabled parking bay (adjacent to existing disabled bay).
To make the following map-based changes to ensure the Council’s internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):

  • On Willoughby Road N8: Formalise the pay by phone only parking bay opposite No.33-38 and revoke the double yellow line opposite No.25-29.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online portal consultation platform https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey. Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect these documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

Anyone who wishes to object to the proposed Orders or make other representations should specify the grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Management Group, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting reference 2024-T31 by 15th January 2024.
