The reason for the closure is for works to construct a multiuser path.

The said roads are expected to be closed and restricted on a rolling programme commencing 6th January 2025, where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on-site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect.

This intended Order may permit the closure and restriction of the said roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 6th July 2026.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF 501449 HAY LANE ROAD (HORSLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the 501449 Hay Lane Road, from its junction with The Street to its junction with Bath Road, for a distance of approximately 1420 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for telecommunication repair and maintenance works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th January 2025 until 8th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401495 Windmill Lane Road, from outside the property known as ‘No. 11’ to outside the property known as ‘1 Windmill Cottages’ for a distance of approximately 592 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Openreach pole replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 10th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed, whichever is the later.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C213 Humphreys End Road, from its junction with More Hall Lane to its junction with Park End for a total distance of approximately 150 metres.

The reason for the said intended closure is for telecommunication maintenance works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 15:30hrs on 10th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401254 Quarhouse Lane to Middle Lypiatt, from the property known as ‘Nether Lypiatt Manor’ to south of the entrance to the property known as ‘Toadsmoor House’ for an approximate distance of 300 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for electrical cabling and connection works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 6th January 2025 until 10th January 2025 or until the works are completed.

The reason for the said closure is for safe access for telecommunication works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 13th January 2025 until 15th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

CONFIRMATION NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER

S26 HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 / WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

PUBLIC FOOTPATH CONNECTING FOLLY LANE AND BEECHES GREEN STROUD PARISH - CREATION ORDER 2024

On 28 November 2024, the Gloucestershire County Council confirmed the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them the following length of public footpath:

A length of public footpath connecting Folly Lane and Beeches Green in the parish of Stroud in the County of Gloucestershire that commences at its junction with the main section of highway number 47639 known as Folly Lane at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO8504/0547 and extends in a south-easterly direction for approximately 65 metres to OSGR SO8507/0543 at its junction with highway number A46 known as Beeches Green.

A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order Map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG, and Stroud District Council, Council Offices, Ebley Mill, Westward Road, Stroud, Glos., GL5 4UB.

Copies of the Order and Order Map may be obtained free of charge by emailing modificationorders@gloucestershire.gov.uk (please quote reference 573/11/214(17)).

The Order comes into force on the 28 November 2024, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provisions contained in it, within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (HA1980), as amended, and/or the powers of section 53A of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (WCA1981), or on the ground that any requirement of either Act or of any regulation made under them has not been complied with in relation to the Order, they may, under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to HA1980 as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act and as applied by s53A(7) WCA1981, within 6 weeks from 18 December 2024 make an application to the High Court.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C270 WEST END ROAD (MINCHINHAMPTON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C270 West End Road, from its junction with High Street to outside the property known as ‘The Trap House’, for a distance of approximately 10 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for manhole repair and replacement works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 20:00hrs on 20th January 2025 until 06:00hrs on 21st January 2025 only or until the works have been completed.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C265 Road Junction with the 300265 Box to George Street Road, from its junction with George Street to its junction with Hollies Hill, for a distance of approximately 250 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for safe access for works by National Grid.

The said road is expected to be closed on 12th January 2025 only or until the works have been completed.
