TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON DERBY ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 12 January 2025 to 12 February 2025 (Daily: 22:00 to 06:00 – Overnight Only)
WHERE: Derby Road, at its junction with the Acorn Way/Derby Road/Raynesway roundabout to its junction with the Spondon Roundabout
REASON: Highway works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – Nottingham Road – The Pentagon – A52 Brian Clough Way – Spondon Roundabout and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON DERWENT STREET, DERBY
WHEN: 20 January 2025 to 25 January 2025 (Daily: 20:00 to 05:00)
Overnight Only
WHERE: Derwent Street, from its junction with Corporation Street and Full Street roundabout to its junction with Exeter Place.
REASON: Construction work
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Exeter Place – Exeter Street – Derwent Street – St Alkmunds Way (A601) – Ford Street (A601) – Stafford Street – Mercian Way – Lara Croft Way – Bradshaw Way – Traffic Street – Morledge

WHEN: 20 January 2025 to 31 January 2025 (20.00 to 05.00 Daily – Overnight Only)
WHERE: Corporation Street, from its junction with Full Street and Derwent Street to its junction with Albert Street, Tennant Street and Morledge, for its whole length.
REASON: Construction work

WHERE: Full Street closure, from its junction with Corporation Street roundabout to its junction with Sowter Road. Full Street, One way suspension, from its junction with Sowter Road to its junction with Queen Street.
REASON: Construction works

DERBY CITY COUNCIL (ERASMUS DRIVE AREA) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) (AMENDMENT TO MAP BASED SCHEDULE) (NO.144) ORDER 2024
Derby City Council has made this Traffic Regulation Order on 19th December 2024, which comes into effect on 23rd December 2024 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.
The purpose of the Order will be to introduce: No Waiting (At Any Time)
• Erasmus Drive on both sides from its junction with Osmaston Road to inside the turning head except in front of numbers 3 to 37.
• Florence Drive on both sides from its junction with London Road to its junction with Sylvester Close and at its junction with Saxelbye Avenue adjacent to number 10 only.
Copies of the Order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be inspected online at https://www.derby.gov.uk/tro
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the Acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
