ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
BARTON ROAD, WELFORD ON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for 4 new water connections. Order Commences: 3 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Due to unforeseen circumstances, these works were delayed but have now been rescheduled as follows: 3-4 January 2025. Access & Diversion: Barton Road, Long Marston Road, Welford Road, Main Street, Pear Tree Close, Dorsington Road and vice versa. Contractor: For STW, Go Traffic Management, Tel: 0158 965 832.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
A3400 BRIDGEFOOT, STRATFORD UPON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of Tiddington Road and Bridgeway. Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, overnight 20.00hrs-06.00hrs. Order Commences: 10 January 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 11 January 2025. Access & Diversion: A3400, A4390, A3400 and vice versa. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
C104 BARFORD ROAD, WELFORD-ON-AVON Order Effect: Road closed between Bunkers Hill Drive and Braggington Lane. Reason for Order: Carriageway patching works, closed 09.30hrs15.30hrs. Order Commences: 8 January 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 8 January 2025. Access & Diversion: Barton Road, High Street, Binton Road, Evesham Road, Stratford Road, Tower Hill, Honeybourne Road, Welford Road, and vice versa. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.
CHURCH STREET, WELLESBOURNE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from points outside properties number 13 & 18. Reason for Order: To enable works to lay a new service from main. Order Commences: 6 January 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 8 January 2025. Access & Diversion: Church Street, Warwick Road, Hoppers Lane and vice versa. Contractor: For Cadent Gas, Headway TM, Tel: 01564 820 118.
LIGHTHORNE ROAD, KINETON Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of a stop tap. Order Commences: 7 January 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 9 January 2025. Access & Diversion: Lighthorne Road, Southam Street, Mill Street, Warwick Road, Pittern Hill, Combrook Road, Spring Hill, Compton Hill, Bowshot Island, Fosse Way, Lighthorne Rough Road, Kineton Road and vice versa. Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 03300 080 820.
SNITTERFIELD STREET, HAMPTON LUCY Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works for gas mains replacement. Order Commences: 6 January 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 31 January 2025. Access & Diversion: Snitterfield Road, Hatton Bank Lane, Warwick Road, Stratford Road, Church Street, Vine Cottages, Bridge Street, Snitterfield Street and vice versa. Contractor: Sapphire Utility Solutions, Tel: 07946 004 378.
VILLAGE ROAD, PRESTON ON STOUR Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable repair to a water pipe. Order Commences: 7 January 2025 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 9 January 2025. Access & Diversion: Village Road, Village Green, School Road and vice versa. Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 080 820.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
