U9503 CHURCH STREET, MARKET STREET,
REGENT STREET, BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Blyth the County of Northumberland.
U9503 Church Street from its junction with Waterloo Road heading north for a distance of 55 metres.
U9503 Market Street from its junction with Church Street heading east for a distance of 95 metres.
U9503 Regent Street from its point outside of 20 Regent Street east side of the road to the westside of the road for a distance of 7.5 metres.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 13th January 2025 until the 1st August 2025 and that the roads will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 31st October 2025.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th January 2025 until the 31st October 2025
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic, pedestrian access will be maintained.

The closure has been requested by Kier Construction on behalf of the Blyth Hub Development for external, paving and street furniture works.
In order to minimise disruption other Contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
