What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Wolverhampton City Council propose to make the following Order under Sections 1, 2 and 124(1)(d) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is as follows:
1 THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (BILSTON) (PROHIBITION AND
RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT
NO 10) ORDER 2024
This Order will prohibit any vehicle to:
(i) wait at any time on any day and to load and unload at any time on any day in parts of Ettingshall Road (Lanesfield), Foster Avenue, Shaw Road (Lanesfield); and
(ii) wait between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 9.30am and 12.30.pm to 4.30pm Friday and to load and unload
between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 9.30am and 12.30pm to 4.30pm Friday in parts of Ettingshall Road
(Lanesfield), Foster Avenue;
(iii) stop between 8.00am to 9.30am and 2.30pm to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 9.30am and 12.30pm to 4.30pm Friday on school entrance markings in parts of Ettingshall Road (Lanesfield), Foster Avenue;
Existing Traffic Regulation Orders will be revoked to the extent necessary to facilitate the provisions of this Order.
2. WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (ETTINGSHALL ROAD, LANESFIELD)
PROPOSED TRAFFIC CALMING MEASURES
The Council proposes to introduce traffic calming measures under the provisions of the Highways Act 1980 Section 90C as amended by the Road Traffic Act 1991 and all S other enabling powers as follows:

Between approximately 20 metres north of the northern kerb line of its junction with Nally Drive to approximately 16 metres south of the southern kerb
line with its junction with Foster Avenue.

Any objection(s) to the proposed Order or the implementation of Traffic Calming Measures should be made in writing to the undersigned by 17 January 2025 stating the ground(s) for the objection(s).
