(ALBEMARLE STREET, SOUTH SHIELDS) ORDER 2024
On 18 December South Tyneside Council made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The Order which comes into operation on 23 December 2024 will revoke no waiting at any time on Albemarle St north side from its junction with Fowler St in a south westwards direction for 6m and south side from its junction with Fowler St in a south westwards direction for 18m. The Order will introduce no waiting at any time on Albemarle St north side from its junction with Fowler St in a south westwards direction for 4m and from a point 19m south westwards from its junction with Fowler St for 17.5m and south side from its junction with Fowler St in a south westwards direction for 35m. Full details are contained in the Order, which, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm at the Town Hall,
Westoe Road, South Shields, NE33 2RL. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or that any of the requirements of the Act or of any relevant regulations made under the Act have not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from 18 December 2024 when the Order was made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
