NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER (OTHER THAN AN ACQUISITION EXTINGUISHMENT ORDER)
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF PENDLE
PROPOSED EXTINGUISHMENT OF PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH FP1303033 AT KIBBLE GROVE, BRIERFIELD ORDER 2024

The above order, made on 17th December 2024, under section 118 of the Highways Act 1980, will extinguish the public footpath running for 100m from the footway on Suncliffe Road, Brierfield adjacent to 5 Kibble Grove at Grid Reference SD85583588 (Point A on the order map) to the footway outside 23 Kibble Grove at SD85673585 (Point B). as shown on the order map. A copy of the order and the order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at Number One Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 7LJ during normal office hours. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.00 or can be requested by contacting 01282 661659 or email legal@pendle.gov.uk. Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent in writing to the Legal Services Manager, The Borough Council of Pendle, Nelson Town Hall, Market Street, Nelson, Lancashire, BB9 7LG not later than 21st January 2025. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, The Borough Council of Pendle may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State of the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
