What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Karen Avenue) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting)
(No.6) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 6th January 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
KAREN AVENUE
Southbound from the junction of Park Road to the junction of Gunwharf Road.From outside No.3 to No.5 and No.13 to No.15 on both sides.
Duration: 6th January 2025 to 8th January 2025
OLD MANOR WAY
From its junction with Kinross Crescent to Lower Drayton Lane.
Duration: 9th January 2025 to 20t January 2025
LOWER DRAYTON LANE
From its junction with Grove Road to Karen Avenue (even numbers side only).
Duration: 20th January 2025 to 24th January 2025
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 6 th January 2025 to 24th January 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
