PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 42 & 43

HAWSKER-CUM-STAINSACRE

(STAINSACRE LANE TO HALL FARM ROAD, HAWSKER)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –

SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)

The North York Moors National Park Authority has made an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parish of Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre in the county of North Yorkshire:

Public Footpath 42 Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre (A-B):

No pedestrian shall proceed along this footpath commencing on

Stainsacre Lane (C225 road) at Grid Reference NZ 9157 0729 (Point A) to Intake Beck at Grid Reference NZ 9189 0737 (Point B). A distance of 340 metres.

Public Footpath 43 Hawsker-cum-Stainsacre (B-C): No pedestrian shall proceed along this footpath commencing at Intake Beck at Grid Reference NZ 9189 0737 (Point B) to Hall Farm Road (2343 road) at Grid Reference NZ 9213 0745 (Point C). A distance of 264 metres.

A total distance of 604 metres.

The Order is necessary due to major storm-spill reduction works required at Grid Reference NZ 9213 0745 (Point C).

The closure takes effect from 11 December 2024 and will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs. The Order shall be in force until 10 June 2025 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.
