What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
VARIOUS RESTRICTIONS, LICHFIELD

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily impose the following restrictions on the lengths of roads in Lichfield, which are scheduled for the following dates:

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Sandford St and to temporarily revoke the Prohibition of Entry order on Sandford St from 6th to 14th January 2025,

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Bird St and to temporarily revoke the one-way order between The Friary and Sandford St from 15th to 24th January 2025,

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Tamworth St and to temporarily revoke the one-way order between Conduit St and Lobard St from 25th January to 7th February 2025,

– Revoke the existing one-way order on Bore St and to impose a temporary one-way order prohibiting vehicles from proceeding in a generally southerly direction on Bore Stt between Conduit St and Breadmarket St, from 25th January and 7th February 2025.

The Order will come into operation on 6th January 2025 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 7th February 2025. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the bollard installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along:
Rd From Great Chatwell to Blymhill Marsh, Brineton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=140788579. The Order will come into operation on 6/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 31/1/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the entrance construction works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Stretton Rd, Stretton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140872484. The Order will come into operation on 13/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecommunication pole testing works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

County Ln, Kingswood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140815689. The Order will come into operation on 7/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the fibre installation works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Pinfold Ln, Penkridge. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140149250. The Order will come into operation on 6/1/24 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 17/1/24. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the traffic signal upgrade works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

High St, Kinver. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140368270. The Order will come into operation on 13/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 15/1/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the water asset repair works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Springhill Ln, Lower Penn. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140132629. The Order will come into operation on 6/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 21/2/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

The Avenue, Stretton. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140331049. The Order will come into operation on 7/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/1/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecommunication maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Horsebrook Ln, Brewood. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=140329842. The Order will come into operation on 7/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 9/1/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the telecommunication maintenance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Upper Sneyd Rd and High Hill, Essington. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/ ?tm=140743494. The Order will come into operation on 6/1/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 31/1/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gsa main replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
