Robertson Avenue, Edinburgh - Temporary Road Restriction for BT Works
What is happening?

(ROBERTSON AVENUE)
(TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/206
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for BT duct installation works, no person shall:
(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; &
(b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of Roberston Ave, from Gorgie Rd to Sinclair Pl.
Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The Greenways Order 1997 will be suspended in so far as the no stopping restrictions and loading and parking bays on the specified section of Robertson Ave are affected by this Order.
The alternative routes for vehicular traffic are via Gorgie Rd (A71), Chesser Ave, Hutchison Ter & Slateford Rd (A70); or Slateford Rd (A70), Angle Park Ter, Henderson Ter & Gorgie Rd (A71).
The order shall have effect from 6/1/25 to 19 / 1/25.
