What is happening?


Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

B41010 BROAD LANE, TANWORTH IN ARDEN
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junction of Rushbrook Lane and Penn Lane.
Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works,09.30hrs-15.30hrs.
Order Commences: 8 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 10 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Broad Lane, Pound House Lane, Spring Lane, A3400, A4189, A435, (Beoley Lane, east to west bound only), Broad Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 03452 415 302.

D50440 GLASSHOUSE LANE, LAPWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between the junctions of the Vicarage Road and Old Warwick Road.
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching and associated works, 08.00hrs-16.00hrs.
Order Commences: 6 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 6 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Glasshouse Lane, Vicarage Road, Aylesbury Road, A3400, Old Warwick Road and vice versa.

NUTHURST LANE, HOCKLEY HEATH
Order Effect:
Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Kemps Green Road and Pound House Lane.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works for removal of a hazardous tree.
Order Commences: 6 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Kemps Green Road, Umberslade Road, Pound House Lane, Spring Lane, Nuthurst Lane and vice versa.

LAPWORTH STREET, LAPWORTH
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works to repair a water pipe.
Order Commences: 7 January 2025 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 9 January 2025.
Access & Diversion: Lapworth Street, Old Warwick Road, Finwood Road, Mill Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: For STW, Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 080 820.

PUBLIC FOOTPATHS W196, W53 AND PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY W52 IN THE PARISHES OF LAPWORTH, BADDESLEY CLINTON AND ROWINGTON
Order Effect: Footpaths and Bridleway closed to ALL traffic as follows: W196 closed at Grid Reference SP19865-72504, W53 closed at Grid Reference SP19634-71325 and W52 closed at Grid Reference SP20136-71011.
Reason for Order: To enable excavation works on or near to the paths/bridleway.
Order Commences: 10 January 2025 for up to 6 months.
Access & Diversion: There are no available diversion routes.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
