(BUS LANES, BUS GATES, BUS ONLY STREETS AND ONE WAY STREETS) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (“the Act 1984”) the general effect of the order amends The “West Northamptonshire Council (Bus Lanes, Bus Gates, Bus Only Streets and One Way Streets) Consolidation Order 2024” The amendment to the Order include replacing Schedule 1 with a new Schedule 1 to amend a typing error in Column 3 of those items listed. In addition, Gold Street, Northampton listed in Schedule 1 will be split into 2 sections as detailed in the Order and Schedule to this Notice.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Old Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing WNCParkingenquiries@ kier.co.uk

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Order will become effective on 20th December 2024.
