Rough Road, Kingstanding - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Utility Works
What is happening?

(17041234 ROUGH ROAD, KINGSTANDING)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction along ROUGH ROAD, between its junction with Kingstanding Road and its junction with Winterton Road.
The temporary Order is required to allow utility works to be carried out in safety.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via Kings Road and Chester Road North
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation 6th January 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 4 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
