NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AN ORDER Section 14 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Wrexham County Borough Council

(Sesswick Public Footpath 16) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Wrexham County Borough Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily close that part of Sesswick public footpath 16 commencing from its junction with Sesswick public footpath 12 at grid reference SJ 3862 4631 and continuing generally north east adjacent to the River Dee for approximately 360 metres to its junction with Sesswick public footpath 17 at grid reference SJ 3883 4659. The reason for the closure is because works are proposed to be executed on or near to the footpath to allow Hafren Dyfrdwy to replace the eel screens at Sesswick intake. There is no suitable alternative route. The Order will come into force on 10 January 2025 and will continue in force for a period of 6 months, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum duration of 6 months.
