PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC/PEDESTRIANS
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than
seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or
near the road and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle/pedestrian from
proceeding in that length of Low Levels Bank at Hatfield in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred
to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works
to overhead cables are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles/pedestrians affected by
the Order is via Low Levels Bank, Thorne Road, Idle Bank, High Levels Bank,
Tudworth Roundabout, Tudworth Road, Sandtoft Road.

The Proposed Order will continue in force for one day or until the works which it is
proposed to carry out in or near the said road have been completed, whichever is
the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Location
Low Levels Bank, Hatfield from its junction with Plains Lane for a distance of 350
meters in a south easterly direction.

TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than
seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or
near the road and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that
length of Castle Street at Conisbrough in the City of Doncaster District as described
in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times referred to in the
said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst works
to install a washout hydrant are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is
via Castle Hill From Castle Street To Low Road, Low Road, New Hill, Castle Avenue,
High Street.

January 2025 or until the works which it is proposed to carry out in or near the said
road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Castle Street, Conisbrough from its junction with Castle Hill to its junction with
Church Street.
Dates and Times
08:00hrs 8th January 2025 until 17:00hrs 10th January 2025. The road will
reopen daily.
BRIDGE HILL STAINFORTH DONCASTER
PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND
SUSPENSION OF 7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION
TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD
TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council intend, not less than
seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 of the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being or proposed to be executed on or
near the road and the effect will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that
length of Bridge Hill at Stainforth in the City of Doncaster District and suspend the
weight restriction as described in the Schedule to this notice on the dates and times
referred to in the said Schedule.
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the workforce whilst
works to excavate and install telecoms duct to link into existing telecoms apparatus
are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is
via Fishlake Nab From Plumtree Hill Road To Water Lane, Plumtree Hill Road,
Woodhouse Green Road, Jack Row Lane, Lodge Lane, Kirkhouse Green Road, Moss
Road, Thompson Terrace, Station Road, High Street, Doncaster Road, Askern Road,
Arksey Lane, Almholme Lane, Fordstead Lane, Madame Lane, Church Road,
Stainforth Road, Field Road, Water Lane.

SCHEDULE
Location
1) Bridge Hill, Stainforth from a point 70 meters north-west of its junction with Water
Lane continuing in a northerly direction for 50 meters.
2) Suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction on Fordstead Lane from its junction with
Thorpe Bank to its junction with Marsh Lane that forms part of the diversion route.
