(TEMPORARY PUBLIC FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council has made an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Longhoughton Public Footpath No 13, in the County of Northumberland.
The route is described as follows:
From a point 250 metres north-east of Stewards Cottage at the entrance to Longhoughton Quarry in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 60 metres to join the C80 road 240 metres north-east of Stewards Cottage.
There is an alternative route available from a point 250 metres north-east of Stewards Cottage at the entrance to Longhoughton Quarry in a south-westerly direction for a distance of 65 metres to join the C80 road 195 metres north-east of Stewards Cottage.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th January 2025 until the 14th January 2025.

The closure has been requested by Sunbelt Rentals Limited in the interests of public safety to facilitate pole testing works.
