U3136 CHARLES ROAD FOOTWAY AMBLE
(TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in accordance with Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force on the U3136 Charles Road Footway Amble in the County of Northumberland.
Temporary Footway Closure:-
A temporary footway closure has continued to be in force and all pedestrian traffic will be prohibited to use that section of the U3136 Charles Road Footway Amble from outside the rear of number 36 Anne Crescent heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 10 metres (“the footway”) in the County of Northumberland.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being Coquetdale, Anne Crescent, side of Anne Crescent Footway Amble and vice-versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on 10th December 2024 and will remain in force until the 25th December 2024.
The closure has been requested by Northern Powergrid to excavate and locate a faulty cable and renew.
