Whitehead
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) has made a Statutory
Rule entitled “The Waiting Restrictions (Whitehead) Order
(Northern Ireland) 2024”, (S.R. 2024 No. 205), which comes
into operation on 30th December 2024.
The Rule will prohibit vehicles waiting at any time (loading
and unloading not permitted) on a length of Beach Road,
Whitehead. Vehicles are excepted from the prohibition in
certain circumstances. The Rule will also revoke and reenact certain existing waiting restrictions in Whitehead.
A copy of the Rule may be viewed at DfI offices during
office hours (Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) by
appointment only. Appointments can be arranged either by
email to dfiroads.northern@infrastructure-ni.gov.uk or by
