U6001 West Moor Junction To East Thirston Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U6001 WEST MOOR JUNCTION TO EAST THIRSTON FELTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6001 West Moor Junction To East Thirston Junction Felton from its point at the junction of the C111 heading east, northeast for a distance of 1460 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective on the 13th January 2025 until the 15th January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th January 2025 between the hours of 10:00 until 18:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U6001, B6345, The Peth, C111 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Road Traffic Solutions on behalf of Smart Platforms for access to telecoms mast via a cherry picker. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
