Eckington Public Footpath No.165 Whole - Temporary Footpath Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.165 (WHOLE)
ECKINGTON
WHEN: 31 December 2024 to 30 June 2025.
WHERE: Close Eckington Public Footpath No.165 for the whole length.
REASON: To facilitate public safety during
construction works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the Eastern end of the closure travel North and take bridleway No.119. At footpath No.129 travel South to meet Greenhall Road. Vice versa from the West.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
