Tunstall Road and Hadleigh Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Loading And Waiting
What is happening?

Portsmouth City Council (Sudbury Road) (Temporary Road Closure) (Temporary
Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.3) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.
The Order comes into operation from 6th January 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
SUDBURY ROAD
From its junction with Tunstall Road and Hadleigh
Road on both sides. Duration: 6th January 2025 to 15th January 2025
B) TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HADLEIGH ROAD
From its junction with Clacton Road for 30 metres.
Duration: 16th January 2025 to 27th January 2025
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
To facilitate CityFibre works.
D) DIVERSION
From 6th January 2025 to 27th January 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
E) DIVERSION
Vehicles will be diverted Sudbury Road, Wymering Lane, Clacton Road. Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works. Cycles to follow vehicle diversion or dismount and follow pedestrian diversion around the works
