B6346 EGLINGHAM TO DISTRICT BOUNDARY
(TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to restrict the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 MPH down to 40 MPH on that section of the B6346 Eglingham to District Boundary for a distance of 186 metres in a south easterly direction from its junction with the Track to Hill End and Nurseryhill, continuing on for a further 603 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th January 2025 until the 15th January 2025.
It is expected that the speed restriction will be in force on the 13th January 2025 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:30 during this period however the Order will remain in place until the 15th January 2025.

The speed restriction has been requested by Sunbelt on behalf of Openreach for the safety of the engineer to work on the overhead structure. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
