C31 Milfield Hill To Branxton Moor - Temporary Road Closure

C31 MILFIELD HILL TO BRANXTON MOOR JUNCTION MILFIELD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C31 Milfield Hill To Branxton Moor Junction from its junction with B6352 heading eastwards for a distance of 1420 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 6th January 2025 until the 24th January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 6th January 2025 until the 17th January 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 24th January 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6352, A697, C31 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing and chamber installation for the installation of fibre cabling.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
