C162 Kirkhall Junction To Rothley Junction - Temporary Road Closure

C162 KIRKHALL JUNCTION TO ROTHLEY JUNCTION SCOTS GAP
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C162 Kirkhall Junction To Rothley Junction Scots Gap from 480 metres westwards of its junction with C161 heading westwards for a distance of 190 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th January 2025 until the 17th January 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 15th January 2025, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th January 2025.

The closure has been requested by Core Highways to examine HRE structure. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
