Hillsley Road, Withington Close & Leominister Road - Temporary Road Closures

Portsmouth City Council (Gas Mains Replacement Paulsgrove) (Temporary Prohibition of Loading and Waiting) (No.5) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Portsmouth City Council intends to make the above Order under
Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

Dated: 19th December 2024

The Order comes into operation from 6th January 2025 and the effect will be as follows:
A) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF LOADING AND WAITING
HILLSLEY ROAD
From No. 17 to its junction with Deerhurst Crescent on both sides.
Duration: 6th January 2025 to 24th
January 2025
Outside Trinidad House and Antigua
House on both sides.
Duration: 10th March 2025 to 30th May 2025
WITHINGTON CLOSE
From its junction with Colesbourne Road and Camcross Close on both sides.
Duration: 20th January 2025 to 7th February 2025
LEOMINSTER ROAD
From its junction with Elkstone Road to outside No. 91 on both sides.
Duration: 14th April 2025 to 25th July 2025
B) REASON FOR THE ORDER
To facilitate gas main replacement works.
C) DURATION OF THE ORDER
From 6th January 2025 to 31st December 2025 or completion of the works, whichever is sooner. Notwithstanding the above, works will take place between Monday to Friday 08:00 - 18:00 and Saturday 08:00 - 13:00. Notwithstanding the above, dates may vary due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Works will take place in sections as notified by signage and letters to residents in advance of works taking place.
D) DIVERSION
Pedestrian access will be maintained around the works.
