What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE EXTENSION
STATION LANE, OLD WHITTINGTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 22 April 2024 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close Station Lane, Old Whittington has been extended.
The alternative route will be via Station Lane (from point of closure), B6052 High Street, Brearley Avenue, Station Lane (to point of closure) and vice versa.
The road will be closed until 31st March 2025 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner to facilitate sewer apparatus installation.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the duration of the temporary restriction. Any member of the public requiring further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
