(BUCHANAN STREET AREA) (TEMPORARY ROAD
RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION)
ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/208
The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate footway reconstruction works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Buchanan St, from Dalmeny St to Iona St; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on both sides of: (i) Buchanan St, from Dalmeny St to Iona St; & (ii) Iona St, nth side: (1) from the north-western kerbline of Buchanan St, westwards for 20m; & (2) from the south-eastern kerbline of Buchanan St, eastwards for 20m. Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Dalmeny St, Sloan St & Iona St.
The order shall have effect from 13/1/25 to 28/3/25.
