Rowley Road - Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic to Undertake Resurfacing Works
What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (I)TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ROWLEY ROAD, LITTLE WEIGHTON (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Rowley Road, Little Weighton (between Station View and New Village Road) commencing Monday 6 January 2025 to undertake resurfacing works.
The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31 January 2025.
The alternative route for traffic affected by this closure will be via North on Rowley Road, the west on C62 White Gap Road, southwest on C75 Common Road, then south on C30Westoby Lane, east on C29, Riplingham Road then north on Rowley Road and vice versa.
