Cromwell Road - Temporary One Way Road Closure For Work

What is happening?

The Council of the City of Salford made the City of Salford (Cromwell Road, Salford) (Temporary One Way Road Closure) Order 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The Order will temporarily introduce the following restrictions. Temporary One Way Closure on: - Cromwell Road - westbound carriageway, between junctions of Gerald Road and Seaford Road, Salford, M6 6DE. The order is intended to come into operation on Monday 6th January 2025 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Sunday 26th January 2025. The closure will be in place 24 hours each day. 

A copy of the proposed Order and plans of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm to Fri inclusive.
