What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL

(HIGH STREET NORTH, DUNSTABLE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends

not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of High Street North, Dunstable outside Morton Charter Solicitors.

This temporary closure is required to enable sewer repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 13 to 24 January 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via A505, A5505, A5, Watling Street, A505 and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 13 January 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (DOG KENNEL PATH, DUNSTABLE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Dog Kennel Path, Dunstable adjacent to number 76A.

This temporary closure is required to enable new electricity supply works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place from 13 to 17 January 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Grove House Gardens.

The Order will come into operation on 13 January 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (SUNDON ROAD, HARLINGTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sundon Road, Harlington outside numbers 14 to 16.

This temporary closure is required to enable meter exchange work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 13 January 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via Barton Road, Harlington Road, Sharpenhoe Road, Sundon Road, Streatley Road, Harlington Road and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 13 January 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL (DOVEHOUSE LANE, KENSWORTH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Dovehouse Lane, Kensworth outside Dovehouse Farm.

This temporary closure is required to enable meter exchange works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.

It is expected that the works will take place on 9 January 2025 between the hours of 9:30 am and 4pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.

The alternative route for this closure is via B4540, Buckwood Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 9 January 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.
