The County of Cornwall (Glynn Road, Netherton Road, Padstow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 15th January 2025 to 16th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Roads affected - Glynn Road Padstow for its entire length, Netherton Road, Padstow from junction with Glynn Road to Number 3.

Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th December 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Gover Lane, Newquay from junction of Bank Street to junction of Beachfield Avenue.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Beach Road (Class Ill) from junction of Central Square to junction with Gover Lane.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because gas mains replacement works are being executed on or near the road. The Order will come into operation on 2nd January 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 28th March 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends • included. 1■ 

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The County of Cornwall (Harbour Road, Par) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Par. This prohibition is necessary for works to clean vegetation from viaduct and it is expected that the closure will be from 18th January 2025 to 19th January 2025.The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2200 and 0800, weekends included.

Road affected - Harbour Road, Par between grid references SX 07578:53364 and SX 07523:53449.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 16th December 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th December 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road Between Lecudden Road And Copshorn Road, Helland Road, Bodmin from junction with Penbugle Lane to junction with Barton Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for Bridge inspection on behalf of Network Rail and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th January 2025 to 14th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 2100 and 0500, weekdays only.

Road affected - Holmbush Arch Road, St Austell from junction at Porthmeor Road to junction at Church Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for principal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th January 2025 to 14th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Roads affected - New Road, Road From New Road To Carnanton Road, Newquay from the A3059 Carnanton Road to Carloggas.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th January 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected -Trelean Vean, St Austell for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge. This prohibition is necessary for new water connection works and it is expected that the closure will be from 13th January 2025 to 17th January 2025. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trevorrick Road, Wadebridge from junction at Park En Vine to junction at Tredore Lane.
