What is happening?

BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL (17051987 KINGSBURY ROAD, CASTLE VALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in either direction through the gap in the central reservation on KINGSBURY ROAD at the junction with Forge Lane.

The temporary Order is required to allow utility works to be carried out in safety.

An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signposted via Kingsbury Road.

These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

The Order will come into operation 11th January 2025 and will remain in force for a period of 4 weeks or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
