THE LEICESTER (DOVER STREET) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Dover Street between its junctions with Granby Street and with Calais Street from 12.00am on Monday 6th January 2025 until 11.59pm on Sunday 2nd March 2025.
Diversion route: Granby Street, York Street, Albion Street. Suspend existing one-way restriction and prohibit waiting and loading at any time on Dover Street between its junctions with Calais Street and with Albion Street from 12.00am on Monday 6th January 2025 until 11.59pm on Sunday 2nd March 2025.
The Order will come into effect on the 6th January 2025 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
