LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PARR LANE, ECCLESTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND 20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 03 December 2024 Lancashire County Council made the above Speed Limit Order under Section 84 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Eccleston North East Area, Eccleston (Various Roads), Chorley Borough) (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2013" insofar as it relates to Parr Lane.
2. Introduce a 20mph speed limit in Parr Lane, Eccleston, from its junction with Towngate (B5250) to a point 171.5 metres east of its junction with the centreline of Windsor Road.
This Order will come into force on the 20 December 2024. A copy of the Order, and all other relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Chorley Borough Council, Town Hall, Market Street, Chorley, PR7 1DP, and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website http://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/roads/roadworks-and-traffic-regulation-orders/permanent.aspx, quoting ref: LSG4/894.17242/AFR.
