Barnet, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Water Works

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF BARNET

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY BANNED TURNS/LANE CLOSURE GRANVILLE ROAD/HIGH ROAD N12

The BARNET LONDON BOROUGH COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing for the need to facilitate the installation of a new water connection, they intend to make an Order which will:

(a) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to turn right Granville Road N12, from High Road, while the works take place.

(b) temporarily prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to left onto Granville Road N12 from High Road, while the works take place.

(c) temporarily close Granville Road N12 between No.112 Granville Road and the junction of High Road for all vehicles travelling in a westbound direction, while the works take place.

The Order will commence at 8am on Wednesday 8th January 2025 and is expected to last for 3 days.

The alternative routes for motorists will be via A1000, A598 and Granville Road. Nothing in the above paragraphs shall apply to anything done with the permission of or at the direction of a Police Constable or a Civil Enforcement Officer in uniform.
