Gravesham, Multiple Temporary Traffic Regulation Notices
What is happening?
Highways
Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
GRAVESHAM AREA
A226 Thames Way, Northfleet, DA11 9QY (CYCLE LANE SUSPENSION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of street lighting works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily suspend the cycle lane on part of A226 Thames Way, Northfleet, on or after 10th January 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.00hrs and 16.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The cycle lane will be suspended between Sewage works turning and B262 Springhead Road.
Chapmans Hill, Meopham, DA13 0QP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Chapmans Hill, Meopham, on or after 6th January 2025 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of A227 Wrotham Road.
The alternative route is via Chapmans Hill, A227 Wrotham Road, Hodsoll Street, Rosemary Lane and vice versa.
High Street, Gravesend, DA11 0AA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of water main repairs, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Gravesend, on or after 6th January 2025 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed. There will be a suspension of the one way order to allow access.
The road will be closed at the side of 1 New Road.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Tanyard Hill, Shorne, DA12 3EE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Tanyard Hill, Shorne, on or after 9th January 2025 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Court Lodge and the Tanyard.
The alternative route is via The Street, Forge Lane, A226 Gravesend Road, Pear Tree Lane, Tanyard Hill and vice versa.
Telegraph Hill, Higham, ME3 7DN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2025
Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Telegraph Hill, Higham, on or after 6th January 2025 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Sir John Falstaff.
The alternative route is via A226 Gravesend Road, Forge Lane, School Lane, Hermitage Road, Telegraph Hill and vice versa.
