(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Use) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because a road closure for the purpose of creating an exclusion zone around a recent occurrence of subsidence, Leeds City Council has today made an Order in the interests of public safety, the effect of which will is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Water Lane, Leeds in the Beeston & Holbeck Ward between its junctions with Springwell Rd and Silver St. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via:- Globe Rd, Whitehall Rd and Holbeck La and also via Bath Rd, Sweet Str West and Marshall St. A diversionary route for pedestrians will be available via Bath Rd and Sweet St West. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 17 December 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The closure will be in place for 24hrs on each day. All communications with regard to this Notice should be addressed to streetworks.coordin@leeds.gov.uk for the attention of A Coultate.
