What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) B3081 (Part), Donhead St Mary and Tollard Royal; from its junction with North Road for a distance of approximately 1km in a southerly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route via B3081 (unaffected length) - A354 -A350 - A30 - C295 - B3081 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 09 January 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. B) Milford Mill Road (Part), Laverstock and Ford and Clarendon Park; from its junction with Queen Manor Road to its junction with New Petersfinger Road to enable Scottish and Southern Electricity to carry out tree and associated works. Alternative route via Petersfinger Road - A36 - Wan a Long Road - Bourne Avenue - Laverstock Road - Manor Farm Road - Millford Mill Road (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 06 January 2025 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 1 day. For further information please contact Chapter 8 - 02380529179. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C) A350 (Part), Sedgehill and Semley; from its junction with Butlers Kane to its junction with C309 to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route northbound (all vehicles): via B3081 - B3092 -A303 - A350 (unaffected length). Alternative route southbound (HGV's): via A36 - A303 - B3092 - B3081 - A350 (unaffected length). Alternative route southbound (light vehicles): via A350 (unaffected length) - B3098. This Order will come into operation on 19 December 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 15:30 for 1 day. D) C326 (Part), Bowerchalke; from its property known as Church Cottage to its property known as No.10 Quidham Street to enable Wessex Water to carry out new connection and associated works. Alternative route via C326 (unaffected length) - C65 - C326 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 16 December 2024 and the closure will be required until 18 December 2024. For further information please contact Wessex Water on 0345 6004600. Orders A) to D) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to temporarily close to all vehicles, motor propelled vehicles, caravans, horses, horse drawn vehicles and pedal cycles: (a) Byway 10 (Part), Durrington; from its junction with Fargo Road to its junction with Byway 12, Amesbury / C506. (b) Byway 12 (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with Byway 10, Durrington / crossing the C506 over to its junction with A303 (T). (c) Byway 12 (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A303 (T) in a southerly direction to its junction with Byway 1, Wilsford cum Lake. (d) Byway 1 (Part), Wilsford cum Lake; from its junction with Byway 12, Amesbury to its junction with Byway 11, Berwick St James. (e) Byway 11 (Part), Berwick St James; from its junction with Byway 1, Wilsford cum Lake to its junction with Byway 16, Woodford. (f) Byway 16 (Part), Woodford; from its junction with Byway 11, Berwick St James to its junction with A360, Druids Lodge. (g) Byway 11 (Part), Amesbury; from its junction with A303 (T) in a southerly direction to its junction with Byway 2, Wilsford cum Lake. (h) Byway 2, (Part), Wilsford cum Lake; from its junction with Byway 11, Amesbury to its junction with Footpath 3 at Springbottom Farm, Wilsford cum Lake. (i) Footpath 4, Durrington, from its junction with the A345, to its junction with Fargo Road. (j) B3086 (Part), Shrewton and Winterbourne Stoke (northbound only); from Rollestone Crossroads to A360 Airmans Cross Roundabout. (k) Fargo Road (Part), Durrington; from its junction with the A345 to a point 300m north at Woodhenge. And to introduce a temporary No Waiting at any time restriction on the following lengths of road: (l) A360 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke; from its junction with A303 Longbarrow Roundabout to its junction with C506 (Airman's Corner). (m) A360 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke; from its junction with C506 (Airman's Corner) in a westerly direction towards Shrewton for a distance of approximately 1 kilometre. (n) B3086 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke and Shrewton; from its junction with A360 / C506 (Airman's Corner) in a northerly direction to its junction with The Packway (Rollestone Crossroads). (o) Fargo Road (Part), Durrington; from its junction with the A345 to a point 300m north at Woodhenge. (p) C42, Stonehenge Road, Amesbury; from its junction with West Amesbury Road to the A303. (q) A345 (Part), Durrington;

from its roundabout junction with A3028 for a distance of approximately 500m in a southerly direction. These Orders are made to ensure public safety during the period of the Winter Solstice at Stonehenge. The closures, restriction and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs or cones. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent any person from causing or permitting any vehicle that is a public service bus from entering the lengths of road specified in part (j). Sections (a) - (k) will come into operation at 08:00 on Monday 16 December 2024 and are expected to remain in force until 12pm midday on Monday 23 December 2024. Sections (l) - (q) will come into operation at 08:00 on Friday 20 December 2024 and are expected to remain in force until 12pm midday on Saturday 21 December 2024.

The Order for sections (a) - (i) will have a maximum duration of 06 months. The Order for sections (j) - (q) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. For further information please contact: Wiltshire Council on 03004560100.

B) A360 (Part), Winterbourne Stoke; from its junction with A303 to its junction with Airmans Corner. This Order is made to ensure public safety during the period of the Winter Solstice at Stonehenge. The closures will be clearly indicated by traffic signs or cones. Access will be maintained for emergency vehicles. Nothing in this Order shall apply so as to prevent any person from causing or permitting any vehicle that is a public service bus from entering the lengths of roads specified. This Order will come into operation on 21 December 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 01:00 and 08:00 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ACT 2004 THE COUNTY OF WILTSHIRE (SOUTHERN WILTSHIRE) (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2022 (AMENDMENT NO.2) ORDER 2024

Notice is hereby given that on 4 December 2024 Wiltshire Council made the above mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 to amend The County of Wiltshire (Southern Wiltshire) (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2022 by removing Central Car Park Approach (Land alongside dual carriageway leading into Central Car Park), Salisbury and Millstream Car Park, Salisbury from the Order and to introduce the following car parks: Public Service Vehicles and Coaches Pay and Display Parking Places Central Coach Car Park, Salisbury - for coaches and service vehicles only, operating all days and all hours, charging with the following tariffs: Monday to Saturday 8am - 6pm (including Bank Holidays) up to: 1hr - £1.80, 2hrs -£2.70, 3hrs - £5.30, All day - £10.80 and Sunday 10m - 4pm £2.90 single charge per visit. Service vehicles are any vehicle being used in the maintenance of any part of the Central Coach Park Parking Area. Service vehicles are exempted from any charges Central Coach Drop Off, Salisbury - for coaches and service vehicles only, operating all days and all hours, free of charge with a maximum stay of 20 minutes No return within 1 hour. Service vehicles are any vehicle being used in the maintenance of any part of the Central Coach Drop Off Parking Area. Service vehicles are exempted from the maximum period of waiting applied to coaches. A copy of the Order can be obtained via email request to TrafficOrders@wiltshire.gov.uk. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in the Order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant Section of the above Act or on the grounds that any requirement of that Section or of Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act or any regulation made under the said Schedule, has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. The Order will come into operation on 16 December 2024.
