THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (WARTH ROAD/MILFORD DRTVE/OPENSHAW FOLD ROAD, BURY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council propose to make the above named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) as follows:-
The effect of the Order will be to introduce no waiting at any time at Warth Road, Milford Drive & Openshaw Fold Road, Bury.
Proposed Introduction of Prohibition of Waiting at any time (operational on all days at all times)
Warth Road, Bury - both sides from a point 25 metres west of the projected north westerly kerbline of Bealey Drive in a westerly direction to and including its cul-de-sac end.
Milford Drive, Bury - both sides from the northerly kerbline of Warth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
Openshaw Fold Road, Bury - easterly side from the northerly kerbline of Warth Road for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.
A copy of the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within it) with plans showing the roads and areas affected, and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order, can be requested via the email Traffic@bury.gov.uk or the postal address below quoting reference TM2-20-469.
Any objections to the proposed order along with the grounds for objecting should be sent in writing to TROobjections@burv.gov.uk or the postal address below quoting reference TM2-20-469 by 03th January 2025.

All representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (LOWERCROFT ROAD/BENTLEY GARDENS, BURY (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council has made the above named Order under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, as follows:- NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
Lowercroft Rd - Both sides from a point 21m north of the northerly kerbline of Wrigglesworth Close to a point 23m south of the southerly kerbline of Wrigglesworth Close.
Wrigglesworth Close - Both sides from the easterly kerbline of Lowercroft Rd for a distance of 6m in an easterly direction
Bentley Gardens - Both sides from the westerly kerbline of Lowercroft Rd for a distance of 6m in a westerly direction
A copy of the Order (including the exemptions contained in it) which comes into operation on 16 December 2024 and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be inspected at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 0FJ. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks of 16 December 2024 apply to the High Court for that purpose.
