(Temporary Closing Of B1037 Stevenage Road, Walkern) Order No.4 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of B1037 Stevenage Road, Walkern from a point 43m north east of its junction with the B1037 Fairlands Way/ Gresley Way roundabout south westwards for a distance of approximately 43m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via B1037 (Stevenage Road/High Street/White Hill/unnamed road), A507 (Baldock Road/unnamed road/Clothall Road), B656 Whitehorse Street, B197 (High Street/London Road), A505 Baldock Bypass, B197 (Jacks Hill/High Street/Gravely Road), A602 Hitchin Road, A1072 Martins Way, A1155 Verity Way and B1037 Fairlands Way.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Bury Lane, Datchworth) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Bury Lane, Datchworth from its junction with Brookbridge Lane north westwards to its junction with Raffin Green Lane, a distance of approximately 298m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Hawkins Hall Lane, Watton Road, Datchworth Green, Mardleybury Road, B197 London Road, Watton Road, Hertford Road, A602 Broadhall Way, Bragbury Lane and Bury Lane.
The Order is needed because utility service connection works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Hadham Road, Standon) Order No.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hadham Road, Standon from its junction with Bromley Lane south westwards, north westwards, northwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 931m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Bromley Lane, C15 (unnamed road), The Ash, The Ford, Standon Road, A120 (Standon Road/Stortford Road), High Street and Hadham Road.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 16 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the proposed Order may be inspected free of charge at County Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

(Temporary Closing Of The A10 Northbound Slip Road Leading Onto The Cambridge Road/A1170 Wadesmill Road Roundabout, Ware) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the A10 northbound slip road leading onto the Cambridge Road/A1170 Wadesmill Road roundabout,
Ware from its junction with the northbound carriageway of A10 Wadesmill Bypass north eastwards and north westwards to its junction with the Cambridge Road/A1170 Wadesmill Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 249m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via A10 Wadesmill Bypass, the A120 Standon Hill roundabout, A10 (Wadesmill Bypass/unnamed road) and A1170 Wadesmill Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Tewin Hill, Tewin) Order No.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Tewin Hill, Tewin from its junction with Upper Green north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Bramfield Road, a distance of approximately 1750m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Upper Green, Orchard Road, Burnham Green Road and Bramfield Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 9 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing And Temporary Waiting Restrictions In Gore Lane, Barwick) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Gore Lane, Barwick from its junction with Ermine Street south eastwards to its junction with Barwick Road, a distance of approximately 1700m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Ermine Street, A120 (Standon Hill/Kents Lane/Stortford Road/Standon Road), Standon Road, The Ash, The Ford, C15 (unnamed road), B1004 (High Street/Tower Hill), Kettle Green Lane, C39 (unnamed road) and Gore Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 13 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Benington Road, Walkern) Order No.2 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Benington Road, Walkern from a point 100m north of the junction with Walkern Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 300m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Benington Road, Walkern Road, Benington Road, Broadwater Lane, Gresley Way, B1037 Stevenage Road, High Street and Benington Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 15 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing And Temporary Waiting Restrictions In The Ford, Little Hadham) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of The Ford, Little Hadham from its junction with The Ash south westwards, southwards and south westwards for a distance of approximately 1359m (“the Road”), except for access.
An alternative route will be via The Ash, Standon Road, Stortford Road, Hadham Road, A120 Hadham Road, A1184 Bishops Park Way, B1004 (Great Hadham Road/Winding Hill), C15 (unnamed road) and The Ford or via The Ash, Standon Road, Stortford Road, Hadham Road, A120 Hadham Road, A1184 Bishops Park Way, B1004 (Great Hadham Road/Winding Hill), C15 (unnamed road), New Road and Chapel Lane.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months.

(Temporary Traffic Management Measures On Various Roads In Puckeridge) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect on the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) will be :-
1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Station Road, Puckeridge from its junction with South Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Meadow Walk, a distance of approximately 325m except for access.
An alternative route will be via Station Road, High Street, Buntingford Road, B1368 Buntingford Road, A10 Puckeridge Bypass, A120 (Standon Hill/Kents Lane) and Station Road.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of road whilst works are in progress.
2. The existing 7.5 weight restriction on Buntingford Road/High Street, Puckeridge from its junction with B1368 Wickham Hill south westwards, south eastwards, south westwards, south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with Station Road, a distance of approximately 472m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of roads, whilst works are in progress.
3. The existing 7.5 weight restriction on Station Road, Puckeridge from its junction with High Street south eastwards to its junction with South Road, a distance of approximately 325m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to use this length of roads, whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary Closing Of Eastfield Road, Waltham Cross) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Eastfield Road, Waltham Cross from its northernmost junction with Southfield Road northwards to its junction with Northfield Road, a distance of approximately 320m (“the Road”).
An alternative route will be via Southfield Road and Northfield Road. The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility cover is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Various Roads In Broxbourne, Braughing And Ware) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access :-
1. that length of Woodhouse Lane, Broxbourne from its junction with White Stubbs Lane north westwards to its junction with Pembridge Lane, a distance of approximately 304m.
An alternative route will be via White Stubbs Lane and Pembridge Lane.
2. that length of Gravelly Lane, Braughing from its junction with B1368 Green End south eastwards, north eastwards, eastwards, north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with The Street, a distance of approximately 500m.
An alternative route will be via B1368 Green End, Malting Lane and The Street.
3. that length of Bowling Road, Ware from its junction with B1004 Star Street north eastwards to its junction with Vicarage Road for a distance of approximately 308m.
An alternative route will be via B1004 Star Street, Cross Street and Vicarage Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(Temporary 40mph Speed Restrictions On Walkern Road, Watton At Stone) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from being driven at a speed exceeding 40mph on Walkern Road, Watton at Stone from a point 100m north west of its junction with Beane Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 175m (“the Road”), when signs are in place.
The Order is needed because construction works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 16 December 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

(Temporary Closing Of Owles Lane, Buntingford) Order 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Owles Lane, Buntingford from a point in line with the western boundary of No.2 Owles Lane north eastwards for a distance of approximately 114m (“the Road”), except for access.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out.
However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 14 January 2025 for a period of up to 18 months.
However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
