Proposed Order: To close that part of U23604 Whitepits Lane from its junction with C2292 Alcester Road to its junction with C2175 Seafield Lane.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U23604 Whitepits Lane (part), C2175 Seafield Lane, U23606 Brockhill Lane, C2292 Alcester Road, U23604 Whitepits Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days

Proposed Order: To close that part of U31220 Other Road (Northbound shuttle lane only) from its junction with U31224 Beoley Road West roundabout to its junction with B4160

Redditch Ringway roundabout.

Reason: Replacement manhole cover by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U31227 Other Road, U31100 Holloway Lane, U31100 Burton Lane, U31149 Union Street, C2101 Holloway Drive, C2101 Lodge Park roundabout, A441 Alvechurch Highway (Northbound), A4023 Coventry Highway and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day.

Commencing: 9 January 2025.

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23406 Headley Heath Lane from its junction with C2170 Icknield Street for a distance of 40 metres in a south easterly direction.

Reason: Utility work by STW.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2170 Icknield Street, U23408 Bell Green Lane, U23406 Headley Heath Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 6 January 2025.

Closure 1: Link Footpath F20599 Apsley Croft from its junction with U23496 Chelworth Road to its junction with Walkers Heath Road.

Closure 2: Link Footpath F20600 Leydon Croft from its junction with U23496 Chelworth Road to its junction with Walkers Heath Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Reason: Overhead works by Openreach.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23412 Barkers Lane from its junction with A435 Alcester Road for a distance of 85 metres in a westerly direction.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion anticlockwise: U23412 Barkers Lane (part), C2040 Tanners Green Lane, A435 Alcester Road.

Diversion clockwise: A435 Alcester Road into Warwickshire, C2040 Mill Lane, U23412 Barkers Lane (part), and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days.

Commencing: 6 January 2025.

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2042 Watery Lane from its junction with C2001 Hill Lane to its junction C2044 Lilley Green Road.

Diversion Clockwise: C2042 Watery Lane (part), C2001 Hill Lane, A435 Alcester Road Northbound, A435 Becketts Roundabout, A435 Alcester Road Southbound, C2042 Watery Lane (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 14 January 2025.

(Link Footpath F30305 Foredrift Road (between No. 25/26), Redditch)

(Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F30305 Foredrift Road (between No. 25/26) from its junction with U31126 Foredrift Close to its junction with Link Footpath F30304 Greenfield to Dormston.

Reason: New ducting in footway by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative Route: Link Footpath F30304 Greenfield to Dormston, Link Footpath F30305 Foredrift Road (btw no. 40/41), U31126 Foredrift Close, and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days.

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4092 Edgioake Lane from its junction with A441 Evesham Road for a distance of 254 metres in a south westerly direction.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4092 Edgioake Lane (part), A441 Evesham Road, A441 The Ridgeway, B4090 Saltway, B4092 Edgioake Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days.

Commencing: 14 January 2025.

Order made: To close that part of U23242 School Lane from its junction with U23242 School Lane to its junction with Church Walk (NSG Ref. 04702723).

Reason: New Customer Connection by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2291 Swan Street, C2001 Bear Hill, U23242 School Lane (part).

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.

Commencing: 16 December 2024.

Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2024

[Prohibition of Waiting on Wychwood Drive and Walkwood Road, Redditch]

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Redditch:

Walkwood Road (Northeast side): from its junction with Wychwood Drive for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.

(Northwest Side): from its junction with Wychwood Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction.

Wychwood Drive (Eastern Side): From its junction with Walkwood Road for a distance of 15 metres in a northernly direction.

(Western Side): From its junction with Walkwood Road for a distance of 14 metres in a northernly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
