Enfield, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION (14.1)

The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.

LONSDALE DRIVE EN2 – 4408

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  “At Any time” on 20 December 2024 for 1 day or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on this road from its junction with Woodcroft Gardens, south westwards for approximately 85 metres. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

EAST DUCK LEES LANE EN3 – 4409

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  “At Any time” on 2 January 2025 for 17 weeks or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  • Close this road between its junctions with Mollison Avenue and Northampton Road; and
  • Suspend parking on both sides of this road, between its junctions with Mollison Avenue and Northampton Road. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

HEDGE LANE N13 – 4410

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  Between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours on 6 January 2025 or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  To suspend parking on both sides of this road, from outside the common boundary of Nos.227/229 to outside the common boundary of Nos.247/249.

UCKFIELD ROAD EN3 – 4411

Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  “At Any time” on 6 January 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on this road, from a point 40 metres south of its junction with Ordnance Road for a distance of 30 metres southwards. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

DEVONSHIRE ROAD N13 – 4412

Reason for 14(1) Order – Highway Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  “At Any time” on 6 January 2025 for 12 weeks or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  • Close Devonshire Road between its junction with Green Lanes and Devonshire Close; and
  • Suspend parking on the west side of Green Lanes N13, from the common boundary of Nos.393/395 Green Lanes N13 to Nos.403/405 Green Lanes N13; and
  • Suspend parking on both sides of Devonshire Road, between its junction with Green Lanes N13 and Devonshire Close.

LINCOLN ROAD EN3 – 4413

Reason for 14(1) Order – Railway Maintenance Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  Between 22:00 hours on 6 January 2025 to 05:00 hours on 7 January 2025 or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on this road, between its junctions with the eastern arm of Lincoln Way and Suffolk Road. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

GREENWOOD AVENUE EN3 – 4414

Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

• Operational Date and Times:

  “At Any time” on 6 January 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.

• General Effect of the Order:

  To suspend parking on both sides of this road, from its junction with The Brightside to outside the common boundary of Nos.106/108 Greenwood Avenue.

  PENNINGTON DRIVE N21 – 4415

  Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

  • Operational Date and Times:

    “At Any time” on 6 January 2025 for 15 weeks or until works are completed.

  • General Effect of the Order:

    To suspend parking on both sides of this road, from outside 63 Pennington Drive to the junction of Banting Drive. These works will be on a phased programme.

  CARPENTER GARDENS N21 – 4416

  Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

  • Operational Date and Times:

    “At Any time” on 7 January 2025 for 11 days or until works are completed.

  • General Effect of the Order:

    To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on this road, from the common boundary of Nos.99/101 Carpenter Gardens, eastwards for approximately 40 metres. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

  CONDUIT LANE AND MONTAGU ROAD N18 – 4417

  Reason for 14(1) Order – Utility Works

  • Operational Dates and Times:

    Between 21:00 hours on 10 January 2025 and 05:00 hours on 11 January 2025 (1 night).

  • General Effect of the Order:

    To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on:

    • Conduit Lane – Cycle Lane and Footway closure, between its junctions with Meridian Way and Montagu Road;
    • Montagu Road N18, Cycle Lane and Footway closure from its junction with Conduit Lane to its junction with Angel Road N18;
    • Montagu Road N18 from its junction with Angel Road northwards for approximately 20 metres. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

  WATERFALL ROAD N14 – 4418

  Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

  • Operational Date and Times:

    “At Any time” on 10 January 2025 for 3 days or until works are completed.

  • General Effect of the Order:

    To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on this road, from the eastern flank wall of Christchurch Church House, westwards for approximately 25 metres. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

  CORRI AVENUE N14 – 4419

  Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

  • Operational Date and Times:

    “At Any time” on 13 January 2025 for 21 days or until works are completed.

  • General Effect of the Order:

    To prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on this road, from the eastern flank wall of No.6 Corri Avenue, westwards for approximately 15 metres. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

    STAINTON ROAD EN3 – 4420

    Reason for 14(1) Order – Water Works

    • Operational Date and Times:

      “At Any time” on 14 January 2025 for 5 days or until works are completed.

    • General Effect of the Order:

      • Close this road from the common boundary of Nos.86/88, southwards for approximately 20 metres; and
      • Suspend parking on both sides of this road, from its junction with Addison Road to outside the common boundary of No.84/86 Stainton Road. While this road is closed, local diversions would be in operation.

    The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by Traffic signs. Access will be maintained only as far as the works allow.
