Woodmansey Mile, Beverley - Prohibit Vehicles Except for Cycles
What is happening?
THE EAST RIDING OFYORKSHIRE COUNCIL (WOODMANSEY MILE, BEVERLEY) (MANDATORY MOVEMENT) ORDER 2024
I. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make a Road Traffic Regulation Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles except for cycles from proceeding as specified below:
Name of Road - Length of Road
Woodmansey Mile - No person shall cause or permit any vehicle proceeding in an easterly or westerly direction along Woodmansey Mile to turn right or left into Long Lane.
Long Lane - No person shall cause or permit any vehicle proceeding in a northerly or southerly direction along Long Lane to turn right or left into Woodmansey Mile. 2.A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and a statement of the council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection at Beverley Customer Service Centre, Cross Street, Beverley, HU17 9BA.
A copy of the street notice and relevant plan have been placed on the council’s website (East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic Management and Road Safety). Any enquiries relating to these proposals may be made to Traffic & Parking Services, Directorate of Communities & Environment (Ref: DF), Beverley Depot, Annie Reed Road, Beverley, HU 17 0LF telephone (01482) 395575 during normal office hours.
3. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the grounds for objection, should be emailed to traffic.consultation@eastriding.gov.uk or sent in writing to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Street scene Services, Beverley Depot, Annie Reed Road, Beverley, HU17 0LF by 9 January 2025.
