Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U20009 Yarnold Lane, Dodford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20009 Yarnold Lane from its junction with U20007 Warbage Lane to its junction with C2062 Dordale Road.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20009 Yarnold Lane (part), U20007 Warbage Lane, C2062 Dordale Road, U20009 Yarnold Lane (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(U21350All Saints Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21350 All Saints Road from its junction with C2253 Birmingham Road to its junction with Belvedere Drive.

Reason: New Vehicle Crossings (Dropped Kerb) by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21350 All Saints Road (part), C2253 Birmingham Road, U21348 Victoria Road, B4091 Stourbridge Road, U21350 All Saints Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(U41531 High Street, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (High Street, Andrews Street and Vines Lane, Droitwich) (One Way Order 1961) (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U41531 High Street from its junction with U41431 Friar Street for a distance of 115 metres in a westerly direction and to temporarily suspend The County of Worcester (High Street, Andrews Street and Vines Lane, Droitwich) (One Way Order 1961) to allow access to residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.

Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U41530 Queen Street, B4090 Salt Way, U41534 Ricketts Lane, U41531 Friar Street.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 January 2025.

(U40204 Halfway Lane, Dunhampton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U40204 Halfway Lane from its junction with A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak to its junction with C2074 Doverdale Lane.

Reason: Drainage Works/Flood Alleviation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2074 Doverdale Lane, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak, A449 Mitre Oak Roundabout, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak Southbound and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(B4096 Alcester Road, Lickey End) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4096 Alcester Road from its junction with U21041 Orpishaw Lane to its junction with C2159 Littleheath Lane.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4096 Alcester Road (part), A38 Lickey End Roundabout, B4096 Old Birmingham Road, B4096 Rose Hill, B4120 Barnt Green Road, B4120 Kendal End Road, B4120 Barnt Green Road, B4120 Redditch Road, A441 Redditch Highway, B4184 Brockhill Drive, B4096 Hewell Lane, B4096 Alcester Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days between 6 January 2025 and 17 January 2025.

(U21401 Linthurst Road, Barnt Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21401 Linthurst Road from its junction with U21402 Pike Hill to its junction with C2151 Shepley Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U21402 Pike Hill, U21402 Pumphouse Lane, U21404 Sandhills Lane, C2151 Shepley Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 days between 6 January 2025 and 22 January 2025.

(C2165 Holy Cross Green, Holy Cross) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2165 Holy Cross Green from its junction with C20003 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with U20409 Horsall Lane.

Reason: Installation of boundary box by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C20003 Bromsgrove Road, C2153 Broom Lane, C2165 Holy Cross Green (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(U20001 Timberhonger Lane, Timberhonger) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20001 Timberhonger Lane from its junction with C2084 Berry Lane to its junction with U20001 Newhouse Lane in a north easterly direction.

Reason: Boundary box installation by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2084 Berry Lane, U20000 Newhouse Lane, U20001 Timberhonger Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(U20475 Field Lane, Clent) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U20475 Field Lane from its junction with A491 Stourbridge Road to its junction with C20003 Bromsgrove Road.

Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(Unnamed Link Footpath connecting A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass to U21065 Warwick Avenue, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of unnamed Link Footpath from its junction with A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass to its junction with U21065 Warwick Avenue.

Reason: No access as a result of the BREP Scheme C, road widening, carriageway construction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

No access for emergency services. Diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: U21065 Warwick Avenue to Stoke Road (via bridge), A38 Stoke Road to Charford Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 13 days (24hrs). Commencing: 12 December 2024.

(C2062 Rocky Lane, Bournemouth) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2062 Rocky Lane from its junction with U21301 Valley Road to its junction with U21537 Hilton Fields.

Reason: To provide safe working for overhead fibre cabling works by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2062 Rocky Lane (part), B4091 Stourbridge Road, A448 Market Street, A448 St John Street, A448 Kidderminster Road, C2059 Bromsgrove Lane, C2062 Dordale Road, C2062 Doctors Hill and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 10 January 2025.

(U22006 Walls Road, Stoke) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U22006 Wals Road from its junction with U22005 Perryfields Road for its entire length.

Reason: Drainage works installation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U22005 Perryfields Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 15 January 2025.

(U21000 Perryfields Road/U21206 King Edward Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close the following parts of closure:

1. U21000 Perryfields Road from its junction with B4091 Stourbridge Road to its junction with U21206 King Edwards Road.

2. U21206 King Edward Road from its junction with U21000 Perryfields Road to its junction with U21207 Perryfields Crescent.

   Reason: Drainage and flood alleviation works by M.K. Kelly Ltd.

   Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

   Alternative route: Diversion 1: B4091 Stourbridge Road, A448 Market Street, A448 St John Street, A448 Kidderminster Road, U21000 Perryfields Road (part) and vice versa. Diversion 2: U21206 King Edward Road (part), U21215 Broad Street, B4091 Stourbridge Road, A448 Market Street, A448 Kidderminster Road, U21000 Perryfields Road (part) and vice versa.

   Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 94 days (24hrs). Commencing: 6 January 2025.

(U21026 Albert Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close that part of U21026 Albert Road from its junction with B4091 Rock Hill for a distance of 30 metres in a northerly direction.

Reason: New customer connection and cabling by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4091 Rock Hill, U21025 Highfield Road, U21026 Albert Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 89 days (24hrs). Commencing: 13 January 2025.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended)

(Footpaths SP-575, 576 & 579, Stoke Prior) (Temporary Closure) Order 2025

Proposed Order: To close Footpaths SP-575, 576 and 579 for their entire length.

The Order has been made to facilitate the construction of a new footway, widening and improvements as part of A38 BREP project.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highways affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: There will be a signed diversion route.

The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the sooner. It is anticipated that the Order will commence on 19 December 2024.

A38 Westland Roundabout, A38 Roman Way and C2255 Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Spa

On 28 November 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict and to impose a 30 mph Speed Limit on the following roads in Droitwich:

• C2255 Kidderminster Road – From its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout for a distance of 75m in an easterly direction.

• A38 Roman Way (Southbound) – From its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout for a distance of 94m in a southerly direction.

• A38 Roman Way (Northbound) – From its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout for a distance of 103m south of its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout to its junction with A38 Westland Roundabout.

The Order will come into operation on 19 December 2024.
