Lower Broughton Road - Temporary Prohibition of Waiting to Enable Works of Surveying and Monitoring
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Salford intends to make the SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (LOWER BROUGHTON ROAD, SALFORD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025 under Section 14(1)(a) and 15(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in no less than 21 days from the date of this Notice. The Order will introduce:
No Waiting at Any Time on - Lower Broughton Road: southeast side, from the junction with Great Clowes Street in a south westerly direction for a distance of 60 metres.
The Order will come into operation on 27 January 2025.
The Prohibition of Waiting by vehicles is necessary to enable works of surveying and monitoring to be undertaken on or near the road. The Council is satisfied that the works to which the Order relates will take longer than 18 months from the date that the Order takes effect. The Order is to be made without time-limit and will be revoked on completion of the works.
A copy of the proposed Order and plan of the area may be examined at Swinton Gateway, 100 Chorley Road, Swinton, M27 6BP, Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
